  • What is a shingle rejuvenator?
A shingle rejuvenator is a plant oil based product that is absorbed into your shingles and hydrates them. Allowing the tar strips to reactivate and seal, stops granule loss, and the aging process from the day it is applied.
  • Is RejuvaRoofs® a coating?
No, it is not a coating. Yes, it is applied to the top of the roof, but it absorbs into the shingles to rehydrate and stop the aging, where a coating does not absorb and creates a barrier.
  • How do I get a territory or secure a specific area?
We are making our product available to all, there will not be territories or exclusivity of any kind. Similar to how the shingle market is. You will have to bring your own spin and differentiating factor to your business sales process.
  • How much does it cost to get started?
Although it will vary based on which sprayer and other small equipment you will need, we find you can easily get set up for between $500-$750 .
  • Can every roof be rejuvenated?
Technically, yes for asphalt shingles and wood shake, but only some will be eligible for a warranty.
  • What is an ideal candidate for a rejuvenation?
If you are wanting to have a warranty, we require the roof to be to code on ventilation and it must have 75-80% of the granules retained.
  • Can fiberglass matting show?
Slightly around the edges, but no major matting on the main shingle area to be warrantable. If you would like to send us a picture we can give you a more complete answer.
  • Why does your product cost less?
We worked to find an efficient process allowing us to offer a lower price. Without the cost of franchise fees, it allows contractors to also be able to offer lower prices as well.
  • How long does it take to apply?
It will vary depending on the complexity of the roof, but on average 30 min to an hour set up. You can apply about 10 sq per hour using a backpack sprayer, and about 30 min to an hour for clean up.
  • Do I need to tarp?
Yes, we advise protecting the home, vehicles, and belongings from overspray.
  • How does a shingle rejuvenator affect mold and algae?
Shingle rejuvenation with RejuvaRoofs® will eliminate organic growth and prevent regrowth.
  • Does it prevent Color Fading?
It will look darker for 6-9 months, but will go back to the color it was. It will prevent fading through granular retention.
  • Will it affect the manufacturer warranty on the shingles?
We find that most roofs that are good candidates for rejuvenation are no longer protected by the manufacturer's warranty. If you have concerns about yours specifically, we recommend contacting your shingle manufacturer.
  • Can it be used for snow retention?
We have seen it deter snow accumulation, but still recommend a proper snow retention system.
  • What is the ideal temperature for application?
60 degrees and sunny, but can be applied at as low as 40 degrees and sunny.
  • If I clean the roof before applying, do I need to let it dry?
We do not want to dilute the mixture with excess water, so the roof will need to be mostly dry prior to application. Absolutely no standing water.
